My friend's dog Iggy needs a new home!

**Please pass this along to anyone who might be interested!**

Iggy needs a new home!

Iggy currently lives in Boulder, CO but is willing travel.

No one knows just who Iggy's mom and dad were (an English Bulldog and a Border Collie?  An ewok and a dragon?)  But everyone agrees that he's completely adorable and totally unique.  Iggy has a fantastic personality.  He was adopted 6 weeks ago and his older brother is not getting along with him.  Iggy deserves a new home where he can truly shine.

About Iggy:

  • He's 62 lbs, recently neutered and about a year old.
  • He's hilarious and loving.  He adores people and his favorite things are tug of war and the laser pointer.
  • He's generally very mellow.  He naps a lot and sleeps in.
  • He is almost complete crate trained and totally house trained.  I've worked with him since day one.  He responds well to training and correction.  He is already maintaining a sit -stay before he gets food, treats or leaves the room.  His recall is fantastic.  He would love his new owner to continue to teach him new things and demonstrate strong leadership.
  • Loves kids and chases cats.
  • Many other dogs do not like Iggy.  I have met with an animal  behaviorist and have some ideas about why this is which I am happy to discuss these with potential owners.  Bottom line: dogs try to start stuff with Iggy while he's out in public.  While I've never seen Iggy initiate conflict, he will not back down once antagonized (bully breed) and has gotten into several tiffs that have resulted in injuries.  On the flip side, the majority of his trips to the dog park have been uneventful and he blends in so well that people regularly comment on his friendly nature.
  • He would absolutely thrive as an only dog but could conceivably co-habitate with another dog if the chemistry was right. He adores other dogs.
  • Iggy is fully vaccinated and can come with a crate, easy walk harness and toys.  He also comes with 100% free dog sitting from a master dog sitter.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Iggy!

If you are interested either tweet me, comment on the post or email me.  The dog is seriously awesome!
